Welcome to the khMason Photography Blog! We're Kenneth and Heather Mason and we are the photographers extraordinaire responsible for the images on this blog! We are a husband and wife team - we've been married almost 9 years! We travel throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee photographing fantastic weddings. We had the pleasure of photographing Sarah & Bud’s engagement last week. We ran all over downtown Macon finding neat spots to photograph.

It’s that time again! You might remember that Kenneth won 3rd place in the ceremony category of WedComp a couple of months ago with this awesome image from Kelli & Zack’s wedding.
So, it’s time for us to start picking out images to submit! If you’ve seen anything here on the blog or in our galleries that has caught your eye and you think we should enter, leave us a comment! I’m definitely entering this image from Jenna & Adam’s wedding!

I have officially joined the wide wacky world of Twitter! Am I the only one reminded of the movie Bambi and all of the animals being twitterpated everytime I hear ‘Twitter’? Probably - I’m just special like that! :D

I am so excited to share this wedding with all of you! We were so honored to be part of Jenna & Adam’s wedding. We hit it off with these two while photographing their engagement, so we’ve been looking forward to the wedding. We knew it was going to be spectacular and fun, and we were SO RIGHT!
The first thing you notice about Jenna & Adam is how perfect they are for each other. They just mesh and compliment each other. Then you notice the little looks they give each other, and see the connection they have, and you just know they have something special.
The wedding was at Gin Creek just outside Moultrie, GA. For anyone looking for a place to get married, this is a fabulous location. Not only is it beautiful, they took such good care of everyone and went out of their way to make the day go as smoothly as possible. It was truly a joy to photograph there!
Kenneth and I were also happy to have Jenny Prater of Jenny Evelyn Photography along for this wedding! She did a fantastic job running all over and getting us things we needed…not to mention that she also took a ton of great images!
Now, on with the images!
I just love this shot - the reflection of Jenna’s dress in the mirror just made me happy. 
We had a little competition about who could jump higher - the guys or the girls. I think my girls won hands down! What do ya’ll think??

And the gorgeous bride! I have determined that it is impossible to take a bad photograph of Jenna!

This was the best bridal party jump ever! They were all into it!
The sun was just setting when we got to do portraits of just the bride and groom. The longer we took pictures the more spectacular the sky became! Loved it!
Jenna was just beaming during the speeches.

After the reception was underway, we stole Jenna & Adam for a few minutes to take some night portraits. I love the results when we do this! There was a huge mossy tree that we took advantage of, and added a bit of video light to get these!
This is Kenneth’s favorite shot of Jenna…he tried to take credit for it, but it was my shot! 
This is one of those fun ‘mine and his’ moments. The first shot here is my perspective, and the second shot is Kenneth’s. Same time, same place, two different looks.
Once we got back to the party, Jenna had to show off her stellar dance moves! The music was fantastic - a great band named Little Brown Peach.
And the getaway at the end of the night!

A couple of weeks after Rachael & Justin’s wedding I got the chance to get together with Rachael to do a fun bridal session. I love doing bridal sessions after the wedding because we don’t have to worry about getting the wedding dress dirty…much more relaxed and fun! Here are a few of my favorite images from the session!
I love this sequence! I’m not sure why, but I love shooting half-face images.
After we got done at the park with the more traditional stuff (well, as traditional as we get anyway), we headed over to the warehouse area we have access to and shot some images there. These ended up being my favorites!
